Random Acts Of Kindness

Have you seen the Random Acts of Kindness trend creeping over the internet? This is a growing movement that involves doing kind things for people with no expectation of getting something in return. It can be as simple as buying coffee for the person behind you in line at the Tim Horton’s, or as complicated as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Here’s an idea for you that is completely free. Get some cards printed up that have this printed on one side:

“Oh No! Your Parking Meter Expired!

Don’t Worry Though, We’ve Got Your Back!”

Print your logo on the back side of the card.

Now fill your pockets with quarters and go for a walk on your lunch break. Every time you see an expired meter, add some money to the meter and stick this card under the windshield wiper of the car you save.

How long do you think it will take before people start calling to thank you? How long before you people start to think of your company as a positive force in the city? How many smiles can you bring to people in the course of a week?

Nobody else is doing this. Get to it.
